Wheres a place on your body that tattoos don’t hurt as much as other places?
my mate is getting a star tattoo, but he doesn’t know where to get it. he wants it somewhere where it hurts the least. any suggestions? xx

Your upper arm wont hurt as much, but it’s still going to hurt it’s a tattoo. Anywhere close to the bone, or a place with a lot or nerves and soft tissue is going to hurt more. Just like if you pinch your arm it will feel different from pinching your foot.

December 7th, 2009 at 9:39 pmIt depends on how high your pain tolerance is. I got my first tattoo at 14, it’s tiny and I cried when they were doing it. It is on my ankle but I was so nervous that I tensed up so they were hitting muscle. Last year I got one on my back it is pretty big but only hurt when she hit my shoulder blade. So i guess I got tougher. Also hve one on my hip and it was fine. I actually almost fell asleep during that one and did fall asleep for the one on my foot. I have been told your calf will hurt because of the large muscle. I think the least painful place would be the upper arm, but not the inside of the arm because that skin is usually verysensitive.
