my tattoo ideas?
so i’m getting a tattoo for my 18th birthday (in march) and i have a few ideas but i’m not sure what i should get first.
my first one i want to get is indian larry’s question mark with the wings http://www.indianlarry.com/Merchant2/graphics/00000001/Patch_HR.jpg
with a quote around the question mark that says "the next phase is going to transpire the way it is supposed to transpire"
or i want to get a Metallica themed tattoo, probably the ninja star design.
my friend lyndsey and i want to get 2008 (probably with a nautical star) on the backs of our necks because that’s when we’re going to graduate high school.
and i want to get an angel with with the word strength.
i just can’t decide which one i should get first or where to put it. , except i won’t get the 2008 one first because i’m going to wait until lynz turns 18.
i’m thinking about the question mark on my ankle or calf.
any suggestions?

or for the indian larry tattoo i might just have "indian larry" and 1949-2004
yeah, the 2008 idea was my friend’s idea. i was thinking about just like a nautical star with the school colors. just something to represent that hey, we made it.

but anyway… i like the question mark and quote idea… and the 2008 one sounds cool and very symbolic…
once you know what you want then decide where you want it by imagining putting that there… both of my tattoos i did the other way… i picked the location and then the tattoo itself. so you could do it that way if you know where you want something…

December 11th, 2009 at 6:49 pmIt’s up to you, as tattoos are very personal, but may I must say 2008 is a horrible idea. High school graduation is not very significant in the long run (I’m in my first year of college) and it seems silly to memorialize it by an entire year.

It might seem like a big deal to you right now, but trust me, I graduated in 2002, and I couldn’t care less about high school at this point in my life. I have moved on to a great career, I am married, and I don’t really talk to any of my "bff’s" that I had in high school. Maybe you and your friend could get some other kind of tattoo that would be special to you guys, and you guys would know that you got it to signify your accomplishment, but it won’t look stupid when you are a few years down the line.
