what do you think of people with multiple styles of tattoos?

Now im not asking because I plan on having different styles so dont give me the whole "get what YOU like" crap.

I want to know what YOU think of having many different styles of tattoos…. for example… a person gets a huge chinese dragon tattooed on their back… then has a pin up girl on their arm with some swallows on their chest and… a black and white tree on their leg . Oh and throw in some tribal stuff too.

lol i think you get the point.
So do you think thats nice or weird? do you think that people should stick to one style like old school, chinese, tribal etc.? As for colours, do you think people should have EITHER black and white OR only colour?

I have differing tattoo’s - japanese back piece, zombie swallows on stomach and a banner, and i’m planning on getting a marvel sleeve. I think sometimes even mine are a bit strange because they don’t flow at all but then again It doesn’t sway me in getting what I want. But ya it does look a little awkward sometimes so you have to try and make it flow as best you can…..I think people need to start branching out from common tattoo’s and definitely do them all in COLOR. :]

I have different styles… although I drew all of my tattoos they are all totally different- from simple line drawings, to abstract scribbles, to a black and white smokey pin-up girl style…

At the time they were all cool, and I still love the story they tell onme, but now I want to get all of them (7) connected,a nd it is really hard to make the styles flow together.

To each their own- people get what they like, other people judge it on their own biases… <shrug> But I tend to like people with a plan on their body and a theme- or very good reason for their tats if not.

i personally think it looks a little wrong and weird and makes you seem full of crap i think you should get something that means something to you not random sh!t.

like getting diffrent religions tattooed on you looks madd dumb.

I think as long as the tattoos are well done and well layed out it looks fine. I have a Japanese lucky cat with cherry blossom and peony 1/2 sleeve and am about to start my next piece which will be a immaculate heart chest piece.

Having a bunch of styles can look bad and choppy. If your tattoos are mostly the same style it’ll flow better and not look as messy.
as for color just dont put b&w and bright colored tattoos next to each other

it shows that the person isn’t so one dimensional i have a huge koi and looking to get a dragon, not a clique one but something uniqe, i also have 2 stars on my elbows and a cross on my side. they have no simularities in style. yet i am thinking about finishing my back in all jap artwork.

i dont think its tacky, but sometimes it can be. if the person really has different themes and styles

I think that art and beauty are in the eye of the beholder. Personally I don’t like a lot of different styles used together. I think black and white and color tattoos can be pretty cool used together tho.
