Need help with tattoo cover up?
I did some dog sitting in exchange for a tattoo – big mistake . It was supposed to be a half sleeve (very expensive) so whether I have the right to complain or not, I don’t know.
It was supposed to be an incredibly easy design. Some plumeria and several random pedals, a hibiscus, a short quote, and filler.
When he asked what colors I wanted, I showed him a couple pictures of mostly pink flowers and we agreed on this.
He did the outline of several flowers and decided to add stars and a million little dots. Not necessarily something I wanted on my body forever. But it looked okay.
I had to wait for him to resize the hibiscus only to find out he thinks a lotus will look prettier. Um. Okay. Then he colors in the plumeria and none of them have pink in them. Oh, and adds more dots.
I’m obviously not going to let him ruin my arm anymore. But how much (if at all) can a tattoo artist fix?

Im so sorry for you
But try going to some shops around your area and showing them, they will not BS you and they will tell you how much they can salvage. Hopefully they can cover up those godawful dots and the lotus flower . Good luck.
January 24th, 2010 at 4:11 amWow, I’m so sorry. That tattoo artist was being really rude!! Go to a new artist. They’ll be able to help you figure out how to turn that tattoo into something beautiful. Don’t just go to a regular artist, find one that specializes in cover ups.
