Temporary tattoos in tattoo parlor?

Is it true you can get a temporary tattoo in a tattoo parlor?
I heard some places may do airbrush but I don’t think it can be custom that way.
Another person told me that they use the same ink they just don’t go in as deep.
Anyone know?

Most don’t, some do. Custom airbrushing is standard in the shops that do offer this service (they use airbrush tattoo inks specially made for it, which is water resistant, can last for a few days, and comes off with baby oil). Some also do henna, particularly in beach resort towns and cities.
